IBM’s HATS software extends mission critical terminal applications to the web, mobile, portal, rich client, or as standard SOAP or RESTful web services without touching the existing application. No rewriting, refactoring, or access to application source code is required. It is not just converting green screens to GUI but, more importantly, the consolidation of multiple screens into a single screen. One of our customers consolidated 100 greens screens, multiple SQL Server databases and a massive Excel extract file into 1 GUI screen, creating significantly improved business productivity according to their CIO.
